Week 1 - https://feliciawdesma9.blogspot.com/2022/04/week-1-two-cultures.html?lr=1
Hello Felicia, I enjoyed reading your blog. I think you displayed the difference between North campus manors and South campus majors very well. Also, it was interesting to see how the stereotypes for North campus "smoking hot smoking hot with a vibrant social life, but won’t be able to land a job after university", and South campus "the ugly nerd.....expected to achieve the pinnacle of success in their post-collegiate career".
Week 2 - https://shyampateldesma9.blogspot.com/2022/04/week-2-math-art.html
Hello Shyam! Thanks so much for sharing. Leonardo Divinci was such an influential figure that changed the world forever. He showed us how combining math and art as one in the same thing can yield some pretty powerful results. The best of it is we can learn all these discoveries for ourselves in just the press of a button in todays world. He applied himself and created things like the golden ratio and the Fibonacci sequence to change art forever. Thanks again!
Week 3 - https://kellijonesdesma9.blogspot.com/2022/04/week-3-art-industrial-age-kinetic-art.html
Hello Kelli! I liked how you tied in the assembly line with Henry Ford to use of robots / mass production. We understand that today, the main function for robots are in factories such as the one you displayed in your first picture. Later you brought up how robots took a much more important role in society with the pandemic which was a great point! I agree with your point that the use of robots during the pandemic sped up the process of society "creating technology that can preform activities that can be draining to humans". Was a pleasure reading your blog!
Week 4 - https://stephaniekimdesma9.blogspot.com/2022/04/week-4-medicine-technology-art.html
Hi Stephanie! It was pleasure reading your blog. It is unfortunate that people go through tragic experiences in the first place to have to get a prosthetic limb, but from reading your blog these limbs have gotten more and more realistic. The neural pathway map that you provided in your 5th and final image is truly an excellent depiction of science and art combining, loved that one!
Week 6 - https://mistygeorgenavarrodesma9.blogspot.com/2022/05/week-6-biotech-and-art.html
Hello Misty! Thank you for sharing your blog, it was intriguing to look into how "bio art" changed how we look at genomes. As you shared by artistically mapping out genes, this rather complicated information can be understood by many more people. Not only for students, but teachers can get information across much more efficiently.
